OBITUARY
Ardis Jones Veirs, In Sun City, Arizona on December 14, 2004, Ardis Jones Veirs, the daughter of Kumen Stanley Jones and Millie Maude Porter Jones, passed away in her sleep at 82 years of age. She was born on the 4th of June, 1922 in Blanding, Utah. Raised in Salt Lake City,

Ardis graduated from Granite High School in 1940. A year out of high school she married Norman Russell Willoughby who was wounded in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Ardis and Norman divorced in 1957. Ardis married Earl Hyrum Jones, of Malad, Idaho, in 1960. Earl passed away in 1977. Earl and Ardis had one child, a son they named Earl Hyrum Jones, Jr., Earl senior passed away on the 27th of May, 1977 in Pocatello, Idaho. Later Ardis was anxiously courted by a true gentleman named George Veirs. They were married in 1981 in Ogden, Utah and moved to Sun City, Arizona in 1984. George was killed in an automobile accident in 1995 at Napa Valley, California.

Ardis is survived by a sister, Berdine Scott, Ogden, Utah; 5 children: Joan, Marc, Carole, Douglas and Earl, Jr. She has also left us with 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Several stepchildren and step grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12-1PM Friday, December 17, 2004. With Service at 1PM At the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Sun City Ward. 13014 N. 108th Ave., Sun City, Az.
